Ok, so a little sleep helps to calm the nerves. I was really, really angry last night, so things got dark behind the eyes. Felt about like I did in 1992 when Clinton rode his wave of “change.”

Still feel a bit bitter about the whole thing, but the loss in the House should have been expected. I should have heard the Pollyanna-ish “keep both houses” talk from Rove et al. for what it was.

Iraq is an unpopular war. All wars are unpopular. It would be nice, though, if the American people understood what Iraq was about.
