Un. Be. Lievable.

I just got off the phone with Bank of America.

I called to close my credit card with them over their recent decision to offer cards to illegal aliens. I was going to keep it simple and short. I figured I’d get sweet-talked, and they’d try to talk me out of it. I was going to be firm but polite with them. Besides, I’ve been meaning to kick the credit habit for a while now, and since I had the cash to clear it out, the straw broke the camel’s back and all that.

Did I say I was expecting to get coaxed back? Boy was I wrong. Not only was I not sweet-talked, I was insulted as ignorant and argued with by some lefty tart on the other end of the phone. She didn’t want my business; she wanted to shove her politics down my throat from the other end of a customer service call. It absolutely defied logic. She grandstanded, offered contradictory arguments, even resorted to the tired old “These people work hard, pay taxes all their lives for next to nothing” line of B.S. we’ve been hearing for decades from the pro-illegal leftists.

In the end, I had to say, “This conversation is over, close my account. Now.” She replied, “Your account is closed, have a nice day” in a tone of voice that dripped with self-righteousness.

A few arguments given by aforementioned tart to show me that I was an idiot for closing my accout:

  • They work hard and pay their taxes: Oh really. So, someone paying taxes only because if they don’t they’ll get jacked by the INF is someone you consider worthy of doing business with? If so, why weren’t you already doing business with them? Besides, are we supposed to give voting rights to the first German schlub that pays sales tax on a candy bar, just because he payed taxes on something?
  • How are they going to build their credit so they can get mortgages, etc.? Great question, snoogums. Even better question: why should they have mortgages? THEY ARE HERE ILLEGALLY.
  • They’re just like everyone else, we’re just giving them a chance: Yeah, except that they don’t want to be American like I do, or the millions of people that play by the rules and come here legally. They want our money.. to send back to Mexico.
  • (This was my favorite) They will have to pay us $500 and then pay 21% interest on their own money: Wait a minute, sweetie, I thought they were just like me. Why are you strangling these poor sweet little innocent workers with loan shark interest rates if they’re just like everyone else? I thought you said they were honest folks that want to be as American as Beaver Cleaver. Horse Shi’ite.

It’s simple. Bank of America is cynically exploiting a problem that will eventually eat this country, and Bank of America, alive. All so they can make a few more million dollars.

Go to hell, Bank of America. You, and companies like you, will be the death of us all.

  1. Well - I don’t have a BankAmerica card. But I’d cancel it if I did. Pfflllbbttttt.

  2. Email and snail mail a copy of this post to every BoA department and manager that you can. Local media might not be a bad idea either.

That’s Bullshit. If they don’t want my business, fine. I don’t need to hear the political views of some phone retard who’s salary I’ve been paying.

File a complaint with your BBB to get this on the record — they have to respond.
